I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy to adults virtually throughout the states of Texas and Maryland, and in-person at my office in far west Houston, Texas.  My approach is collaborative and I provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for clients to express feelings openly.  Sessions are tailored to address each client’s unique needs. I believe each client possesses inner strengths that, when nurtured and encouraged, can lead to healing and improved ability to cope.

I have over two decades of clinical experience working with individuals of all ages who are responding to chronic or terminal illnesses,  grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and emotional dysregulation.  Since 2014, I have taught Grief and Bereavement Therapy at the University of Houston and have lectured on this topic throughout the greater Houston area.  I received my Masters degree in Social work (LMSW) from the University of Houston and am board certified in advanced clinical social work by the States of Texas and Maryland (LCSW-C).

Personally, I am a native of Philadelphia, and my husband was born and raised in and around Towson, Maryland. We have also lived in California and Illinois. We have made Texas our home for nearly 25 years, settling in West Houston where we raised our two children who are now both “grown and flown.” With our nest now empty, we are enjoying the quiet but sometimes chaotic company of our dog and two cats!
